Contract Manager

  • Establish a fully functional Department that is capable of ensuring that the needs of SJPNL are met when it comes to a PPP/PBC program that delivers projects that are sustainable and delivered by the private sector.
  • Liaise with SJNPL’s auditors, lawyers, tax advisers, bankers and shareholders and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for the Contracts Management Department, and in particular management provisions and methodologies of PPP/PBC Contracts, to ensure achievement of the corporate expectations of SJPNL.
  • Ensure that PPP/PBC projects are prepared for competitive market bidding in such a way that all financials and risk components are adequately identified, quantified and allocated in a manner consistent with prescribed methodologies.
  • Member of the Evaluation Team for the Evaluation of Bids, and PPP/PBC Agreement Negotiations with the preferred bidder.
  • Be the focal point for interaction with the private operators; Anticipate, manage and resolve any disputes, which may arise, and identify areas of improvement in the contracting process of SJPNL; Refer to mediation or arbitration as needed; Organize regular meetings to coordinate incident management between SJPNL and the respective PPP/PBC Contractors.


Asset Management
