  • Effective implementation of the financial management arrangements for the projects.
  • Attract commercial finance to augment public finance resources.
  • Developing training strategies for imparting training to finance staff and the accountants
  • Preparation of the annual work plan and budget prepare and review quarterly budgets and generate fund requests to respective agencies.
  • Monitoring expenditure and preparation of reimbursement claims, Monitor and review monthly expenditure reports and grant in aid.
  • To assist and prepare all the financial documents for making payments, keep a proper record of all the contracts, payments against agreements, prepare sanctioned letters, etc.

  • Responsible for customer interface and accountability.
  • Oversight of Grievance redressal.
  • Increase customer awareness about water consumption and conservation.
  • Develop materials such as leaflets, posters, stickers and other devices to ensure maximum impact to the targeted customers.
  • Prepare questionnaires/surveys, pamphlets, instruments needed to carry out the information and awareness campaigns.
  • Conduct training and workshops as needed (for stakeholders such as the media)
  • Develop messages for SJPNL that are to be issued to the public via different communication media
  • Motivate unconnected consumers to take household connections
  • Handhold/support households from the poorer communities about new connection formalities, metering and billing, payment of water tariff, etc.
  • Liaise with elected representatives and other opinion-leaders
  • Organizer for all field level FGDs, Meetings Workshops
  • Set up institutional forums for interaction and consultation with stakeholders and for conflict resolution.
  • Build consensus on service levels, tariff, mutual responsibility and obligations though transparently negotiated process with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate transparent monitoring and dissemination of outcomes
  • Identify the need to conduct independent surveys periodically and facilitate the exercise
